I wrote in a previous post that I am now trying to get hold of my painting and try to develop there.
I haven’t quite found my niche yet and right now it’s mostly about testing myself, I’m trying different motifs and mixing ways of painting. Right now it’s summer, so it’s not really the time to shut up and paint, but I still squeeze in a little. The painting with the foxes is a first test to paint in oil, (it was almost 30 years since I tried it) the result may not have been exactly as I thought but it was the training that was really important in this situation. The painting with the flower on an abstract background is the latest one I made, I liked how it turned out and will try some more variations of that type of composition.
