In the process of ”finding my style”, I have discovered that I enjoy painting animals. I often find inspiring images online, save them and print them out to use as references. For me, it is not about making exact copies, but rather about challenging my technique and improving my ability to capture the subject on the canvas. Painting animals is a great way to practice realistic image reproduction, proportions and color nuances, while helping me develop my artistic style. This methodology serves as a creative test for me, where I can experiment with different painting techniques and expressions. I love using images from the internet and creating paintings based on inspiring animal motifs, which also gives me the opportunity to develop my portfolio in oil and/or acrylic.
